How To Find and Save Prompts From the Best of NightCafe's Creators

So...you've been perusing the creations made by your fellow creators at NC and, if you're like me, you'll find some that just make you say "wow! how'd they do that?". Here's the good news: some of those creators share their prompts (known as "Open Prompts) on NC, which means they are free for the takin' to use as-is, or to tweak (which is what I prefer to do). It should be noted that some people are adamant about not sharing their prompts, and I for one totally respect that, and I also do the same for the vast majority of my creations, mainly because I use mine in "for sale" items and I don't need the competition. With that said, I do have a collection of "Open Prompts" which you are free to use. Beyond mine though, here's the easiest way to find open prompts from some of the best creators/images on NC:

Go to the Explorer Tab, then click on the down arrow next to No Filter and select Settings Open.

You can also click the down arrow next to Top Last Hour to refine your search by Newest Creations, Top Daily, Top of All Time, etc. Don't be surprised as you are scrolling through images if you see the same creator over and over. There's a bit of a "popularity contest" vibe going on.

Now scroll through the images until you find one that speaks to you as special. Once you click on it, click on the settings tab to reveal the text prompt. There's a "save" hyperlink under the prompt, so click that.

Most people will put the entire text prompt in 1 box, but some, like in the screenshot, will break it up into two or more. Click one or both...

Now here's where the fun starts!

Go to Create, click on Stable, then click on the Add Modifiers box under the Text Prompt. Click on the My Favorites tab, and voila! the saved prompts are ready for you to use. (For this example I would click on "Fairy Wonderland Homes" first, since it's the subject, then click on the "Epic cinematic...". They'll both fit in one text box. Click Done. Scroll down and click Create.

You can store dozens of prompts to use, edit and mix for future creations. If your list gets too long or you decide you've saved a prompt you really don't want, click on the "Switch to delete mode" and click to delete each of the unwanted prompts. *If your favorites are all in red it means you're still in delete mode, so be sure to put it back to normal when done.

Now you've just created a brand new supply of inspiration for your creations. It should hold you over for a week or two. ;)

TIP: Be sure to also click the follow button and leave a comment any time you save someone's prompt. It's a nice way to acknowledge their efforts AND it just might get you a new follower too!
